This is why I love eating in Las Cruces. Really good Mexican food and great staff. I had the gorditas and they were delicious.

This place is the bomb. Authentic and delicious. Tortillas made by hand. What else can you ask for? We stopped in for a quick bite and they were super nice and told us exactly what we should get. Five freaking stars. Get the green chili burrito.

My favorite place to eat Mexican food in this town. There staff is really friendly good price I love the cheese they use and the tortillas are made from scratch there.

Very good food, authentic!  The menudo was AMAZING. So hard to find good menudo anywhere. Very mom n pop and hometown but a great place to get REAL mexican food!

We drove to Mesilla Park today to check out the food at La Cocina.  The four of us arrived at about 12:30.  You have to order your food at one window and pickup your at another window.  I had the burrito plate (carne asada) smothered with green chile and my wife had a folded taco plate.  Our friends had a taco, and 2 burritos, one with brisket and one with carne asada.  All of our meals were good.  Our friends thought that the carne asada burrito was better than the brisket burrito.  My carne asada burrito was good, but I have had better carne asada burritos in Las Cruces.  Another feature of the place that bothers me is the fact that your meal is served on Styrofoam plates and your silverware is plastic.  Would return, but there are better choices for Mexican food in town.
